The Cotswolds are beautiful to drive, and an awkward place to break down. Phone signal dips, villages are far apart, and many national operators treat the area as the edge of everyone's patch. We don't: Evesham sits right on the north Cotswold edge, and recoveries around Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Winchcombe are part of our normal week.
Our flatbed truck handles everything from family cars to low classic and performance cars (a common sight on Cotswold weekends), using soft straps and wheel skates where needed. If you've slid onto a verge or into a gateway on a narrow lane, our winching equipment can recover the vehicle without adding to the damage.

My car has stopped on Fish Hill on the A44 over the escarpment. Where should I wait?
Yes, we cover that stretch. Fish Hill is steep and busy, so if the car will still roll, carry on to the top where you can pull well clear of the carriageway rather than stopping on the gradient. Get everyone out on the nearside and behind a barrier or up the bank, then ring us on 07585 046329 and we will load you there.
Can a recovery truck actually get to me in the middle of Bourton-on-the-Water?
Usually, yes. We are used to tight village centres and narrow Cotswold lanes, so we will ask a few questions about where you are parked and what is around you before setting off. If we cannot get right alongside, we can winch the vehicle out or move it on skates to a safer loading point nearby.
I have had a shunt on the Fosse Way near Moreton-in-Marsh and the car will not drive. What happens next?
If your vehicle is not driveable after an accident, we can collect it from the roadside free of charge, subject to T&Cs, and take it to a garage of your choice or back home. Wait somewhere well off the carriageway with your hazards on, then tell us exactly where you are and whether the wheels still turn.
