Do you cover Chipping Norton and Burford, or only the Worcestershire side?
We cover west Oxfordshire properly. Chipping Norton, Burford, Witney and the villages along the A40 and A44 are all within our patch, reached over the Cotswolds from our Evesham base. Cars, vans and light commercial vehicles are all recovered, and we can take the vehicle onward anywhere in the UK by arrangement.
I've stopped on the A40 towards Oxford and there is nowhere safe to pull in. What now?
Get as far onto the verge or into a gateway as the vehicle will go, hazards on, then everyone out on the nearside and well back from the traffic. That road is quick with few laybys. A what3words reference or the nearest village sign gets us straight to you rather than guessing between junctions.
Can a recovery truck reach me in a narrow Oxfordshire village or a market square?
Usually, yes. Places like Burford's high street and the older lanes are tight, so we ask a few questions about parking and access before setting off. If we cannot get alongside, we can winch the vehicle out or move it on skates to a safer loading point nearby, then load it properly there.
