Get as far left as you safely can, into a lay-by or onto the verge, hazards on, then leave by the passenger door. Wait behind the barrier or up the bank rather than in the car, and do not cross the carriageway. Tell us the nearest junction, sign or landmark, or send a what3words, and we will find you.
Can you recover a van on the B439 near Bidford-on-Avon?
Yes, vans and light commercial vehicles are everyday work for us. That stretch of the B439 is narrow with soft verges and few places to pull in, so stop where the ground is firm if you can and keep everyone off the carriageway. A postcode or what3words gets us straight to you rather than guessing.
My car won't start in a multi-storey car park in Leamington Spa, can you still get it out?
Often yes, though height barriers and tight ramps decide it. Tell us the car park and the height limit when you call and we will talk through the options, including moving the vehicle out to open ground before loading. It is the same picture in central Warwick, where the older streets need a bit of planning.
