Terms & conditions

These terms explain how we work when you book Evesham Recovery Services Ltd for breakdown recovery, accident recovery, vehicle transport or roadside assistance. They are written in plain English, because that’s how we do business. If anything is unclear, just ask when you call.

Quotes and payment

We agree the price with you before we set off, based on the vehicle, its location and the destination. The price we agree is the price you pay, with no hidden extras. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described (for example, a different vehicle, an inaccessible location, or a change of destination), we will tell you before any extra cost is incurred.

Payment is due on completion of the job unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. We accept cash and card/bank transfer.

Free roadside accident collection

Our roadside accident collection service is free to you when the costs of recovery can be recovered from an insurer or another party as part of your accident claim. When you call, we will explain how this works for your situation before you commit to anything. Where costs cannot be recovered in this way, we will quote for the job in the normal way, before we set off.

Your vehicle in our care

We are PAS 43 and ISO 9001 certified, our operators are IMI recovery trained, and we hold full insurance, including cover for vehicles being recovered and transported. Your vehicle is secured using appropriate equipment for its type, and cherished vehicles are moved using soft straps and wheel skates where needed.

Please remove valuables from your vehicle before transport where practical. We take care with every vehicle, but we cannot accept responsibility for loose personal items left inside.

Cancellations

If you no longer need us, please call as soon as you can. We do not charge for jobs cancelled before we have set off. If we are already on our way, we may charge a reasonable amount to cover the distance travelled, and we will always tell you what that is.
